Record Week for Salvation Reports

By Ron Kopczick | September 18, 2008

4820_areyousaved_cvrlg.JPGToday’s Pentecostal Evangel received an all-time high 85 salvation reports from readers during the week of Sept. 8-12. The record response pushed the number of conversions reported to the Evangel this year to 1,721.

Should the current pace continue, TPE will surpass the previous high of 2,231 salvation coupons submitted during 2007. Since the Evangel began regularly carrying a response form in 1997, nearly 21,000 men and women have reported committing their lives to Jesus Christ with the assistance of the publication.

A slight majority of the testimonies have come from the incarcerated. For the past 13 years the Evangel has been provided weekly to hundreds of correctional institutions throughout the United States thanks to the Key Bearers ministry.

Due to donations of more than $1.64 million, the Key Bearers program has sent nearly 7.4 million copies of TPE and its quarterly Spanish version, Evangelio Pentecostal Hoy, to America’s forgotten society. To learn more about Key Bearers, visit www.tpe.ag.org and click on the KB icon.
