Chuck Norris Testimony Headlines June 29 TPE
By Ron Kopczick | June 3, 2008
Chuck Norris is a blessed man. He knows and recognizes it.
In the June 29 Today’s Pentecostal Evangel, the former Walker, Texas Ranger star discusses his journey from accepting Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 12, drifting from his faith, and then recommitting his life to the Lord 10 years ago.
An Air Force veteran, Norris also talks about his support and involvement with the men and women who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces, especially overseas. He even reflects on those “Chuck Norris Facts” that have become part of pop culture.
In addition to Norris’ testimony, the issue features a Georgia congregation that ministers to neighboring military personnel and their families, the story of a former Marine sniper who became a military chaplain, and how the church can serve war veterans when they return home.
The “Special Independence Day Edition” of the Evangel is a salute to those who’ve committed their lives to protect and preserve the USA. Order the issue for yourself, family, church, or community by calling 1-800-641-4310 or visiting www.tpe.ag.org for more information.
Copies are only 25 cents each for a bulk order of 50 or more. Orders of 49 or less are 50 cents per copy. Postage is included in the pricing.
